These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to Catch! — Math Game (“Catch!” or “the app”) and to the website catch-math.online (“the website”). They are an agreement between you and Siarhei Kouzel, an individual developer who develops and publishes Catch! (“we”, “us” or “our” in these Terms). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. If the player is a child, a parent or guardian should read these Terms and agree to them on the child’s behalf.
The short version
- Purchases in the game are optional and always need a grown-up.
- Hero packs stay unlocked and can be restored. Coins are used up and cannot be restored.
- Premium renews automatically until you cancel it in your store account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
- Game progress is saved only on your device.
The app
Catch! is a game in which players practice addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to catch beasts and collect heroes. It is made for fun and practice and does not replace school or a teacher.
Your license
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules of the store you downloaded it from. You may not:
- copy, modify, sell, rent or distribute the app or its content;
- reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- use cheats, exploits or tools that change how the game or its purchases work.
In-app purchases
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are charged to your store account. Prices are set by us, shown by the store in your local currency, and may change. Every purchase in the app is behind a grown-up check. Parents can also turn off or limit purchases with the device’s parental controls, such as Screen Time and Ask to Buy on Apple devices.
Hero packs
A hero pack is a one-time purchase that unlocks the heroes in that pack for as long as you use the app. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device signed in to the same store account, open Settings → Purchases → Restore purchases in the game to get them back.
Coin packs
Coins are used up as you play. Purchased coins are added to the coin balance on the device and cannot be restored after the app is deleted, or moved to another device.
Premium subscription
- Premium is an auto-renewable subscription, billed monthly or yearly. Its current benefits are described in the app before you subscribe and may change.
- Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and the store charges your account for each renewal, until you cancel it. If a free trial is offered, the subscription is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel it in time.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your store account settings. The store sets the rules for renewals, free trials and cancellations, including how early you need to cancel to avoid the next charge: see Cancel a subscription from Apple and Cancel, pause, or change a subscription on Google Play. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store under its own policies, and we cannot issue them ourselves. For the App Store, use reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, see Google Play refund help.
Coins, beasts and heroes
Coins, beasts, heroes and other in-game items have no value outside the game. They cannot be exchanged for real money or anything else of value, sold or transferred. Buying them gives you a license to use them in the app, not ownership.
Your game data
The app has no accounts or online saves: progress, coins and statistics are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them, and we cannot restore lost progress. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Our content
The app, its characters, artwork, sounds, texts and code, and the content of this website belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any rights to them other than the license above.
Support
Please use our support email only to contact us about Catch!. Do not use it to send spam or unlawful content, and do not send payment card details or passwords: we will never ask for them.
Disclaimer
The app and the website are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that they will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app or the website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app and in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim, and in any case to no more than US$50. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that you have under consumer protection laws and that cannot be limited by agreement.
Changes to the app and ending these Terms
We may update the app and change, add or remove content and features at any time. To the extent the law allows, we may also stop offering or supporting the app. We may end your license if you break these Terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
App Store and Google Play
Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the store you got it from. If you downloaded Catch! from the Apple App Store:
- these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content;
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app;
- if the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app;
- Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app does not meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or claims that the app infringes someone’s intellectual property;
- you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties;
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. If you downloaded Catch! from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the terms of the store you got the app from, are the whole agreement between you and us about the app. If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a part of these Terms right away, we can still enforce it later.
Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms at any time, for example when the app or the law changes. The updated Terms take effect when they are published on this page, and the “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. If you keep using the app after a change, the updated Terms apply.
